I've been working for Decura since March 2018. Especially at the beginning, there were a lot of new things to learn that you don't get taught in this way at university. However, I was always supported patiently and very openly by everyone and was thus able to acquire my current expertise.

I was also given responsibility in customer projects early on, which not only helped me develop professionally, but also personally.

I particularly appreciate three things about our company.

One is the open and honest feedback culture, which on the one hand supports the development of us employees and the company, but on the other hand also ensures that employees' opinions are really valued.

The second point is the personal interaction with each other, which means that a lot of understanding is shown even in exceptional situations. For example, after the birth of my twins, I was not only able to organise my working hours very flexibly at short notice, but also significantly reduce them until things were ‘reasonably’ calm again at home.

Thirdly, I'm someone who likes to support other people, but as I don't see myself specialising in either medicine or psychology, and I don't have the talent to support people in their private lives, I really appreciate the fact that I can at least do it professionally. I try to set up or adapt organisational structures, management systems, processes, documents and IT systems in such a way that they support both management and employees in their daily work and ideally avoid or at least solve problems.

As a Senior Consultant, I am now also responsible for our location in Füssen and, together with my colleague, make decisions and organise our office and studio.
